How long is the treatment?
Please allow 3 hours for the treatment, which will include a full consultation where we discuss your requirements and a patch test.
How long does it last?
Semi permanent make up can last up to 3 years, he desired microblading effect will last 12-18 months depending on your skin type. Most people like an annual colour boost to keep them looking their best.
How is the shape determined?
We will draw the desired shape on your face using the Phi Brows microblading measurement tool which helps us to find symmetry in your facial features. Then using the Phi Brows microblading measurement app, this app will take pictures of your brows and ensure your brows are perfectly even, level and symmetrical, this usually takes 1 hour.
I have had Semi-Permanent Make-Up elsewhere, can I still book?:
It is very important that you inform your technician prior to booking your appointment that you have had SPMU elsewhere, existing make up can be covered, however you will need to send in pictures beforehand to see if it is possible.
We do not do touch ups if you have had initial treatment elsewhere.
Is it painful?:
Pain is relative to each client, we find ladies who are on their menstrual cycle to be more sensitive so do not advise treatment at this time. The feeling is a light scratch, however this is only felt for the first part, a numbing liquid is then used to ensure it is pain free. Once numb most clients find it quite relaxing and some even fall asleep.
Can I still tint my brows?
Once your new brows are fully healed (4 weeks) you may tint your brows.
Please refrain from tinting your brows at least 3 days before your treatment.
I have recently had botox can I still have the treatment?
You should leave at least 4 weeks between your Botox appointment and your microblading, this will allow time for your facial muscles to settle. Ideally we recommend having microblading before your botox appointment.
Who is not suited to Microblading?
Microblading is NOT recommended for:
Those under the age of 18 years
Pregnant or breastfeeding
Undergoing Chemotherapy (consult your doctor)
Viral infections and/or diseases
A Pacemaker or major heart problems
Had an Organ transplant
Skin irritations or Psoriasis near the treated area (rashes, sunburn, acne, etc.)
Sick (cold, flu, etc.)

Can I go back to work after?
Yes, there us no downtime after Microblading. Straight after your treatment brows may appear slightly red however this usually goes within an hour.
